Reporting
There are now three ways to report crime in Albuquerque:
If in doubt, always call 911.
As a general set of guidelines, call 911:
- If your life or your property is in danger or threatened.
- For example, if you have an emergency and need police, fire
or medic response.
Call 242-COPS (2677), Albuquerque police non-emergency line:
- If your life or property are not in immediate danger.
- For example, if you need an officer to take a report (e.g.,
stolen vehicle, burglary).
Call 311 to ask who to call or report other problems in the city.
Use the Suspected Crime Form Online, http://www.cabq.gov/police/prevention/prevention_form.html
to inform the police of suspected crime in your area.
Crime Stoppers
Call 843-STOP (843-7867) if you have information about a crime or
criminal and wish to remain anonymous. If an arrest is made, you will
be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
